5 Amazing Melasma Makeup Youtube Tutorials

Best “How to Cover Melasma” YouTube Tutorial Videos:

Women with melasma know how much of a struggle it is to try and cover up those dark spots on your faces. I’ve personally tried dozens of foundations and concealers in the hopes of finally being able to cover up my Melasma on my forehead and upper lip. But because I’m not a trained makeup artist, I’ve often ended up looking completely ridiculous and cakey. So I did what any desperate women with melasma would do and turned to YouTube for some tutorials on how to cover up Melasma on your face. Below I’m sharing some of my favorite YouTube videos on how to use makeup to cover up melasma and pigmention:

Main tips I’ve learned from watching Melasma YouTube Videos:

  • Never rub the makeup over your melasma, instead stipple with a brush or use your finger to tap the makeup on
  • Orange or peach colored concealers are the best for covering up brown and gray melasma spots
  • You must use a concealer and foundation to get the best look
  • You don’t have to spend a million dollars to cover up Melasma, many drug store products are just as good as their expensive counterparts

    Merci… you change my life.
I m alone, me and my melasma. Now, you change my my life. Sometimes , I would like to die or to disappear.
    Sorry, I am French.

      Giron,
You’re definitely not alone! Trust me. There are 100’s of 1000’s of women and men who have this issue, including myself! I’ve dealt with melasma for the past four years and it’s getting worse. Treatments do not seem to work.

Just take it a day at a time and always wear sunscreen when you’re out, even on cloudy days. Try to wear a sun hat if you can. I know how difficult it is to have melasma and how traumatizing it can be, but please don’t say you’d like to disappear or die!

Stay strong and take care. Many blessings to you from the Chicago, Illinois, USA. 🙂
